Ray and I just got back from an amazing trip. We went to Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Italy. We went to UNESCO World Heritage Sites at Plitvice and Split. We also we to Sarajevo, Dubrovnik, Postojna Cave, St. Marks, Venice, Trestie, Zagreb and so much more. It was a great trip. We were there for two weeks. A fun and exciting trip. Hope you enjoy a few of the pictures.

Travel Series #2 Coronado

You can do this in any order. But this is what I would recommend. First stop USS Midway at 910 N Harbor Drive. There is really quite a bit to do there: street vendors, kissing statue, USO dedication, and of the ship. Then a stop at Balboa Park so very much to do there. There is the Model Railroad Museum, the Fleet Science Center, the Eva Everson Fountain, several art museums and just so much more than that, you could spend a day there. Next we went to the L Frank Baum House at 1101 Star Park Cir. Next we went Coronado Ferry Landing. Then we headed down to Imperial beach, then Sliver Strand Beach and then Coronado Hotel and Central Beach and also tried to find the sunken ship. Lastly we went to 1107 Orange ave, McP’s Irish Bar, had some drinks and food. There are so many things toes and do including many wonderful restaurants and bars. This was our day trip. Yours could be different.

August 3, 2022 The beginning of a new travel series.

I’m going to start a local travel series. It will usually features local excursions. The trips will usually be in California. The trips will be local to most people who view my website. Usually I will include a things to see and do list in the written section of the web page. This is the first and will not include everything I just mentioned. This little excursion was to Pismo Beach, Montana De Oro, Port Luis, Avila, and Los Osos.. All of these places deserve a visit or a stay.

Northern California Hiking

Ray and I went hiking up in Northern California. Mark and Kelsey were also on some of the hikes. Fun times visiting the beauty of Northern California. We also made a trip out to Jack London’s ranch which was very cool. We spent times in breweries and just enjoying nature. Here are a few of the pictures.

Petaluma April 2022

Rayleen and I went on an adventure up in Northern California. We wanted to enjoy the northern climate and the wide open spaces. Petaluma is known as the egg capital of the world. It is a dairy, farm and ranch land. So much of Petaluma is wide open spaces. The hiking, sightseeing and nature are inspiring. We had a great time, lots of rain and some good sunny days for hiking. Hope you enjoy.

March in Santa Cruz

We had a family camping trip and Ray and I were able to get out for a little hike along West Cliff Drive. It was pretty active so pictures were going to be a challenge. I would say these pictures were pretty fair, but nothing spectacular. Hope you enjoy.

February 1, 2022

It’s nice to get out and take some photos. Ray and I celebrated 49 years of marriage and we went up north to Northern California to celebrate. Taking pictures of redwoods is difficult because they are so big. But it was nice to get out. Hope you enjoy these pictures. But I tell you I definitely need a wide angle lens.

August 31, 2021

Well didn’t really get out to do some photography. So went back to look at a picture I’ve taken twice. Once in 2008 and then again in 2018. This is actually the 2008 picture when we were visiting friends in Juneau. Saw these building on a friend’s boat then saw the same buildings 10 years later and they looked the same. I enjoyed the colors and feeling like I was back on the Alaskan seas. Alaska is a beautiful part of our country. Hope you enjoy
